For Bar Owners

A web designer who builds sites that book the private events.

People choose a bar the way they choose a restaurant: they look at photos, check the vibe, glance at the cocktail list, and confirm you are open late enough. But the money that carries a slow January is private events, buyouts, birthdays, industry parties, and those planners need pricing, capacity and a contact who answers. Most bar sites serve neither audience.

I design and build custom websites for bars, lounges and cocktail rooms. Every site is hand-coded, sells the atmosphere with real photography, keeps the menu and events current, and makes private event inquiries easy to send.

The Bar Difference

Built for the walk-in tonight and the buyout in March

Two audiences, one site. The guest wants photos of the room, the cocktail and food menu, hours, happy hour times and whether there is a reservation option. The event planner wants capacity, minimums, packages, AV and a fast reply. Serving both well is what separates a bar with a website from a bar with a marketing asset.

I build every bar site around both, then add the local SEO that gets you found for cocktail bar, happy hour and bars near me searches in your neighborhood.

Common Problems

What's hurting most bar websites

Most bar sites I'm asked to fix share the same handful of problems, and every one of them costs you either a walk-in tonight or a buyout next quarter.

Hours and happy hour unclear

Late-night hours, kitchen close times and happy hour windows are the most-checked details on a bar site, and they are wrong or missing on most of them.

Menus as PDFs or photos

Unreadable on a phone and invisible to Google. A real menu page ranks for the cocktails and dishes people are actually searching.

No private event information

Buyouts and parties are the highest-margin business you have. Without capacity, minimums and packages on the page, planners move on to a venue that published them.

Doesn't sell the room

Atmosphere is the product. Real photography of your space at night does more than any description, and stock imagery actively hurts you.

Invisible in local search

If your site isn't built for local SEO, you lose "cocktail bar near me" and neighborhood searches to aggregators. I build every page to be found for those.

An outdated events section

A calendar with last spring's events tells a visitor the bar might not even be open. If it cannot be kept current, it should be built to be trivially easy to update.

Questions

Common questions from
bar owners

Custom projects come in three flat-rate packages: Starter from $1,000, Professional (with a blog and full local SEO) from $2,500, and Premium from $5,000 for larger sites with event calendars, ticketing or private event booking. If you'd rather launch faster and for less, a template-based build is a great starting point. Every project is quoted as one fixed price after a free discovery call.

Yes. Menu PDFs are painful on a phone and Google mostly ignores them, so you lose ranking for the cocktails and food people search by name.

Yes, and it is usually the highest-value part of the site. Capacity, minimums, packages, AV details and a short inquiry form turn planner searches into buyouts.

Yes. I build it so adding or removing an event is quick, or connect an existing calendar or ticketing platform so it stays current without touching code.

Yes. I can link or embed Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms or Tock so guests can book directly, and keep walk-in policy clear for bars that don't take reservations.

For most bar sites it is not required, but if you sell alcohol online or your brand guidelines require it, I can add a lightweight age gate that doesn't hurt SEO or scare off visitors.

Yes. The portfolio page shows a selection of completed projects across different industries. You can also browse available templates if you'd like to see the design options for faster turnaround builds.
