Coffee Shop & Roastery  ·  Warm & Rustic

Millstone

A warm, rustic design for coffee shops, cafes and roasteries. Paper textures, hand-lettered notes, a chalkboard menu that switches between the espresso bar, filter and kitchen, and a bean finder that sends people home with a bag.

You're choosing a design. I build the site.

This isn't a theme you install or a file you download. There's no page builder to learn and nothing to configure yourself.

You pick this design, send me your menu, your photos and your hours, and I build the site around it by hand, colours, type and sections adjusted to your shop.

Two costs, quoted separately

The build, a one-time fee covering design adaptation, building every section with your content, and launch. Quoted once I know how much you want on it.

Hosting & care, a separate monthly cost that keeps the site online, secure and backed up. Quoted alongside the build so you see both numbers before committing.

The demo uses an invented roastery, invented beans and invented prices. Yours would carry your menu, your roasts, your corner.

The Process

From here to live

Two to Four Weeks

01

You pick Millstone

Tell me this is the direction. We talk through your menu, whether you roast or buy, and whether you sell beans, ship them or only hand them over the counter.

02

You send content

Your menu and prices, hours, a few photos of the room and the pastry case, and the story of how the shop started. I send a simple checklist so nothing's missed.

03

I build it

I set the chalkboard up with your real menu, load the bean finder with your roasts, warm the palette to your room, and connect ordering or gift cards if you use them.

04

We go live

Domain connected, analytics set up, and a full handover. After launch, menu changes and seasonal updates come straight to me as part of your monthly care plan.

The Standout Feature

A bean finder that
sells the bag

Three questions, how they brew, milk or black, what tastes good to them, and the site names the bag they should walk out with, with the tasting notes and the price. It's the conversation your barista has fifty times a week, running on the site at two in the morning. Retail bags are the highest margin thing in the shop and the hardest thing to sell to somebody who's afraid of picking wrong.

  • Interactive bean finder matched to your own roasts
  • Chalkboard menu with tabs for espresso, filter and kitchen
  • Paper grain, torn edges, stamps and hand-lettered notes
  • Hours, address and roasting days stated where people look first

What's Included

Everything a coffee shop actually needs

A menu you can change

Prices move, seasonal drinks come and go, and the pastry list changes weekly. Yours updates without touching code, or I handle it under your care plan.

The room, sold properly

Photography treated as the main event, because people choose a cafe on whether they want to sit in it, not on how good the espresso is described.

Beans as a second business

Retail bags given real space, with origin, roast level and notes, and a path to shipping or subscriptions when you're ready for them.

Built to be found

Local SEO from the start, hours and location structured the way Google wants them, so you show up for "coffee near me" in your own neighborhood.

Good Fit For

Who Millstone suits

Independent coffee shops and cafes, small-batch roasteries, espresso bars, tea houses, bakeries with a serious coffee program, breakfast and brunch spots, and farm-to-table kitchens. Anywhere warm, wooden and a little worn-in, where the point is that people stay.

It also suits mobile coffee carts and roasters selling mostly online. If your brand is sleek and minimal rather than rustic, say a third-wave bar in a white box, tell me and I'll show you a cooler, quieter direction instead.
