How It Works

What local actually means

Built Per City

A website that ranks in Burbank and a website that ranks in Pasadena are not the same website. Showing up for someone searching two miles from your door comes down to a handful of specific things, and most of them happen outside the design.

The Approach

Fewer city pages,
built properly

A common shortcut in local SEO is to publish a page for every city within fifty miles, changing little more than the city name. Google has been discounting that pattern for years, and a large set of near-identical pages can end up weakening the ones that were already performing.

I build a smaller number of distinct pages for the cities you genuinely serve, each written around the work you do there and the customers you want from it. If your business operates in three cities, you get three pages, and they outperform thirty thin ones.

For more on what to expect, here is what local SEO realistically takes and the tips worth doing first.

Additional Areas

Other cities
I serve

I take on projects throughout Los Angeles County, including the communities below.

  • Shadow Hills, Sun Valley and Lake View Terrace
  • Toluca Lake, Valley Village and Van Nuys
  • Encino, Tarzana and Woodland Hills
  • Highland Park, Atwater Village and Silver Lake
  • South Pasadena, San Marino and Sierra Madre
  • Monrovia, Arcadia and Duarte
  • Alhambra, San Gabriel and Temple City

Work outside Los Angeles County is welcome as well. The process and the pricing are identical.

Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Local Work

Do I have to be in Los Angeles to work with you?

No. I am based in Los Angeles, so if you are local we can meet in person, and I work with clients across the US as well. Nothing about the process or the price changes either way.

Can you get me ranking in more than one city?

Yes, within reason. A business with one physical location can realistically compete in its own city and the ones immediately next to it. Trying to rank a single Glendale shop across all of Los Angeles County is a different and much longer project, and I will tell you honestly which of the two you are looking at.

What if my city isn't listed here?

Get in touch anyway. The pages on this site are the areas I have written up, not the limit of where I work. I take on projects across Los Angeles County and beyond.

Is local SEO included in the build?

On-page local SEO is, which covers page structure, headings, service-area markup, speed and your Google Business Profile setup. Ongoing work such as new content, review generation and citation cleanup is a separate monthly service, quoted separately so you see both numbers.

How long before I see local results?

Map Pack movement usually shows first, often within four to eight weeks of the profile and site being set up properly. Organic rankings for competitive city terms take longer, three to six months is honest for most local businesses.

Do you work with businesses that have no storefront?

Yes, and service-area businesses are some of the best fits for this work. Plumbers, contractors, mobile services and consultants all rank locally without a public address. Google handles it differently, and I set the profile up accordingly.
