Wooden ceremony arbor in a meadow with golden hills behind
Santa Ynez Valley, California

Forty-two acres,
one day at a time.

A working cattle ranch turned wedding venue, with two ceremony sites, a 1912 barn, six guest cabins and a single event a weekend. Golden hour here lasts about forty minutes, and we plan the whole day around it.

The Property

Four places to gather

Most couples use three of them in a single day: vows in one, dinner in another, and the last hour somewhere with lights strung overhead.

The Meadow

Twelve acres of wild rye that we cut the week of your date and leave standing the rest of the year. The benches are ours, milled from a fallen valley oak in 2016, and they seat one hundred and eighty without a rental order.

Dinner & Dancing

The 1912 Barn

Built for hay and repaired more times than anyone has counted. Heated, wired for a band, and open on the west side so the sunset comes in during dinner. It is the rain plan for every other space on the property.

The Oak Grove

Nine coast live oaks, the oldest of them somewhere near three hundred years, with permanent bistro lighting we leave up year round. This is where the hour between the ceremony and dinner happens, and where most of the photographs come from.

The Long Table

One table for forty, under the pepper trees behind the ranch house, for couples who want the whole thing to feel like a very good dinner party. Available Thursday through Sunday, and the only space we book more than once a weekend.

Dates & Pricing

What a day here costs

Venue pricing is the thing nobody puts on their website, and it's the first thing every couple wants to know. Ours moves with the season, the day of the week and how many people you're bringing, so pick yours and see the real number.

The site fee covers the whole property for the day. The all-in range is what our couples actually spend once catering, bar, rentals and flowers are in, based on the last two seasons.

  • One event per weekend, so the property is never shared
  • Rehearsal dinner the night before at no additional site fee
  • Six cabins sleep fourteen, included Friday and Saturday
  • Open vendor list, with a required licensed bar service

Site fee $13,350
Typical all-in $30,600 – $44,850

Peak Saturdays book fourteen months out. Two dates left in 2027.

An estimate, not a quote. The site fee is fixed once your date is held with a deposit, and the all-in range reflects what couples at this size actually spent here.

The Ranch

Still a working
cattle ranch

Four generations, and it will not be sold to a developer. Weddings pay for the fencing, the well and the herd, which is the arrangement that keeps the view out your ceremony window exactly the way it looks in these photographs.

What's Included

In the site fee

Everything below comes with the day. We would rather own the things you would otherwise rent twice.

01

The whole property

All four spaces, ten hours of event time, and access from nine in the morning for setup. Nobody else is here.

02

Furniture & lighting

Oak benches, farm tables, two hundred and twenty chairs, the arbor, and permanent bistro lighting in the grove.

03

Cabins & getting ready

Six cabins sleeping fourteen, Friday and Saturday nights, plus two getting-ready suites with real light and real mirrors.

04

A venue manager

Someone of ours on site from setup to load-out who knows where the breakers are. Not a coordinator, but the person your coordinator will be glad to find.

What they said after

"We toured eleven venues and this was the only one where the price we were quoted was the price we paid."

Hana & WesOctober, 190 guests

"The barn saved us. It rained for six hours and nobody who was there remembers it as a rainy wedding."

Cassidy & RuthMarch, 140 guests

"Forty people at one table under the pepper trees. It cost a third of what everyone told us a wedding costs."
