A warm, busy, slightly messy place for children aged six months to five years. Real play, real mud, and grown-ups who actually know your child's name.

Children move up when they're ready, not on their birthday. Siblings can visit each other whenever they like.
6 – 18 months
Slow mornings, floor time and lots of laps. We follow your routine at home, including naps and bottles.
18 mo – 3 years
Painting, water play, climbing and the beginnings of sharing. Messy on purpose — bring spare clothes.
3 – 5 years
Letters, numbers and big questions, mostly through play. Ready for kindergarten without being drilled for it.
Loose enough to follow the children, structured enough that everyone knows what's next.
Drop off any time. Toast, fruit and a slow start while everyone wakes up properly.
Paint, blocks, dress-up, water table. Children choose; we follow what they're curious about.
The garden, the sandpit, or a walk to the park. Waterproofs on if it's raining.
Cooked on site, everyone at the table. Allergies and preferences handled without fuss.
Naps for those who need them, books and puzzles for those who don't.
A last run around the garden, a story, then collection any time before six.
Eleven of us altogether. Everyone is background-checked, paediatric first-aid trained, and has been here a while.

Opened Sprout in 2012 after a decade teaching kindergarten. Knows every child's name, and usually their dog's too.

Early childhood degree, endless patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for answering "but why?" forty times a day.
“They noticed our son wasn't speaking much before we did, and gently helped us get him assessed. He's thriving now. I'll never forget that.”Maya & Tom · parents in the Saplings room
Full time is $1,680 a month for under-twos and $1,450 for over-twos, including all meals and snacks. Part-time places are available three or more days a week. We accept state subsidy vouchers.
Usually, yes — around three to five months for the Acorns room and shorter for the older rooms. Book a tour anyway; things move around more than you'd expect.
We'll call you if there's a fever over 100.4°F, vomiting, or anything contagious. Children need to be symptom-free for 24 hours before coming back. We know that's inconvenient, and we do it anyway.
Every allergy is documented, posted in the kitchen and in the room, and all staff are trained on epinephrine auto-injectors. We're a nut-free site.
Absolutely, any time, no notice needed. You'll also get photos and a short note about your child's day through our parent app each afternoon.
Most children take two to three weeks. We do short settling visits first, and we'll call you if a day genuinely isn't working — we won't leave you wondering.
Tours run Tuesday and Thursday mornings while the rooms are busy — that's the point. Bring your child; they'll be playing within five minutes.
