Who This Template Is Perfect For

Built for communities that gather

Non-Profit

A warm, human site for organisations built around gatherings, volunteers and giving. Everything in the preview is a placeholder. The name, the service times, the events and the people are all replaced with yours.

The Process

From here to live

Two to Four Weeks

01

You pick Sanctuary

Tell me this is the direction. We talk through your gatherings, how people give, and what a first visit looks like.

02

You send content

Your service times, events, leadership photos and giving details. I send a simple checklist so nothing is missed.

03

I build it

I adapt the design to your brand and send it over to review. We go back and forth until you approve the final look.

04

We go live

Domain connected, giving connected, analytics set up, and a full handover. After launch, events and service times come straight to me, or I walk a volunteer through updating them.

The Standout Feature

Warm, not corporate

Most organisation websites look either like a wedding invitation or a bank. This is neither. It is soft, rounded and human, and it reads as though a person wrote it, with the service times sitting right up front where a first-time visitor looks.

  • Warm clay and oat palette, nothing cold
  • Rounded corners and pill buttons throughout
  • Arched imagery echoing a chapel window
  • Cards that tilt playfully on hover
  • Gentle spring animation, never flashy
  • Service times sitting right up front
  • Honest-answers accordion for first-time visitors
  • Honours reduced-motion accessibility settings

What It Costs

Build, then hosting

Quoted Separately

$500+A one-time build fee, quoted per project based on how much you want on the site. Hosting and care is a separate monthly cost, quoted at the same time so you see both numbers before committing.

One-Time

The Build

Design adapted to your organisation, your gatherings and events set in, giving connected, and launch handled.

From $500, quoted per project. You will have a fixed number in writing before any work begins.

Monthly

Hosting & Care

Keeps the site online, fast, secure and backed up, with software kept current.

Separate from the build, quoted at the same time so you see both numbers together. Events, service times and photos are updated for you as part of the plan, or I train a volunteer to do it.

Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Before We Start

How does this actually work?

You are choosing a design direction, not buying a file. There is nothing to download or configure. I adapt this look to your brand, build every section around your content and your words, and send it over to review. We go back and forth until you approve the final look, then it goes live on your domain.

Can we take donations through the site?

Yes. I will connect whatever you already use, Tithe.ly, Givelify, Stripe, PayPal or a donor platform. Those providers charge their own processing fees, which are separate from anything I quote.

Can a volunteer update events each week?

Yes, and I would assume they will. Before launch I will walk whoever looks after it through adding an event, changing service times and swapping photos. If nobody wants that job, I can do it as part of your monthly plan.

Can we host sermon audio or video?

The design includes a latest-message section. For a full archive, the practical route is hosting on YouTube, Vimeo or a podcast host and embedding it. That keeps your hosting costs down and works better on phones.

Do you offer a non-profit rate?

Ask me. If you are a registered non-profit or a small congregation, tell me your situation when you get in touch and I will be straight with you about what I can do.

We are not a church, does this still work?

Yes. It suits any organisation built around gatherings, volunteers and giving, community centres, food banks, shelters, youth programmes. The wording changes, the structure holds.

Do we own the website?

Yes. The files, the domain and the content are yours. If you ever move to another host or designer, everything transfers.

Do you only work with organisations in Los Angeles?

No, I work anywhere in the US. If you are local we can meet in person.

Want something
entirely your own?

If none of the designs fit, I build from a blank page too. Same process, more discovery.
